Dr. Lauren C. Young
Award-winning author, professor, and creator of the Better Leader, Better Human assessment to help transform managers in today’s rapidly changing business environment
Dr. Lauren Young is an organizational change expert and she has dedicated her career to helping create culture transformations. She leads diversity, inclusion and equity efforts for global corporations to strengthen a sense of belonging for all employees and is on faculty in the Psychology department at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Young attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors and started her career in brand marketing with The Kraft Heinz Company in Chicago, IL. After authoring two books and starting a business consulting firm, Dr. Young expanded her marketing expertise to build sustainable corporate responsibility strategies that drive global organizational change. While consulting executives at dozens of Fortune 500 companies, she earned her Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Southern California.
In 2020, Dr. Young earned her Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, and was recognized by Diversity MBA as one of the Top 100 Under 50 Executive Leaders in Diversity, Inclusion and Equity. She continues to advise and influence executives on methods to eliminate biased processes and procedures in corporate culture and advance diverse talent into leadership roles. Dr. Young also holds the SHRM-CP certification in Human Resources Management.
